The Boston Uprising has announced that they are resigning four players ahead of the 2021 season. Revealed in a new series of articles titled, Building Up Boston, the team are looking to take their veterans and rebuild around them, the resigned individuals are as follows:

- Cameron "Fusions" Bosworth
- Kelsey "Colourhex" Birse
- Leyton "Punk" Gilchrist
- Sangmin "Myunbong" Seo

Fusions and Colourhex were asked by general manager, Chris "Huk" Loranger if they wanted to be traded, only to instead state their interests in staying with the team and winning as part of the organisation.

"When HuK asked me, I didn't even have to think about it. I wanted to be here," Fusions said, followed by Colourhex who stated; "I know it's been a lackluster and unsatisfying two seasons, but I still really want this, and I want to [win] with this team."

Punk chose to remain with the team as part of his option year contract, with Myunbong doing so also. Put together, the four make up the majority of the Uprising's roster from last year, only now lacking another DPS player, and a second support.

Fans no doubt will be looking for information regarding Taehee "Jerry" Min's future with the organisation, who looked to be a star DPS player across the entire league as the season progressed. The article does state that Huk and Jerry are still in negotiations about next season's plans, as the young talent is eligible to head elsewhere.
