Team Vitality has announced that it will be soon parting ways with Cédric "RpK" Guipouy, as it is looking to "find a new pace." The team also revealed that Jayson "Kyojin" Nguyen Van will be taking RpK's place following the BLAST Premier Spring Showdown.

Within a statement on Twitter, the team said: "It's never easy to let a legendary, inspiring, and consistent player such as RpK step back from competition, and we'll do everything we can to support him in what's yet to come."

Veteran player RpK had been with Team Vitality since October 2018 and has represented them in competitions such as BLAST Premier: Fall 2020 and Intel Extreme Masters XV - Beijing Online: Europe. It's unclear what the French player might do next following his departure from Team Vitality, but we here at Gamereactor wish him the very best.
