Guide zur Gamescom 2011

Die Gamescom steht vor der Tür und wir haben passend dazu alle wichtigen Daten und Fakten zur Messe zusammengetragen. Es gibt eine Liste aller wichtigen Aussteller mit ihrem Lineup sowie einige zentrale Termine, die man sich vormerken sollte. Wir berichten wieder live von der Messe und halten euch auf dem Laufenden.

Es ist wieder soweit. Die Gamescom, Europas wichtigste Spielemesse, präsentiert die großen Titel für das Weihnachtsgeschäft und wagt auch einen Blick in die Zukunft. Im letzten Jahr etwa wurde der erste Trailer von Resistance 3 gezeigt und 2009 wurde Fable III in Köln enthüllt. Mehr als 550 Aussteller werden in diesem Jahr erwartet, die auf 120.000 Quadratmetern Fläche ihre Höhepunkte präsentieren. Die Messe ist damit so groß wie nie zuvor.

Microsoft reist unter anderem mit Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary und neuen Kinect-Spielen an. Sony kontert mit Resistance 3 und Nachschub für Move. Der Besuch am Stand lohnt aber auch wegen des PSP-Nachfolgers Playstation Vita. Nintendo wiederum konzentriert sich auf den 3DS. Spielbar ist unter anderem das neue Mario Kart und für die Wii gibt es Neues von Kirby. Die für das kommende Jahr angekündigte Wii U bleibt der Messe leider fern.

Aber auch die Dritthersteller trumpfen auf. An der Shooter-Front kämpfen beispielsweise hitverdächtige Titel wie Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 und Battlefield 3. Im Duell stehen außerdem die Fußballsimulationen FIFA 12 und Pro Evolution Soccer 2012. Und das Schöne ist, die Gamescom lässt uns selbst ausprobieren und entscheiden, wer der Bessere ist.

Und welche Neuheiten gibt es noch? Ubisoft zeigt Assassin's Creed: Revelations und THQ reitet mit Darksiders II los. Take 2 überrascht die Messe mit Borderlands 2. Und Valve lässt uns erstmals Dota 2 und Starcraft II: Heart of the Swarm spielen. Und das ist natürlich nicht alles. Hinter verschlossenen Türen sind ebenfalls Spiele zu sehen. So gibt es etwa ein neues Adventure der Pendulo Studios, Sine Mora und Lollipop Chainsaw werden ausgesuchten Journalisten gezeigt. Außerdem zeigen viele andere, kleinere Entwickler ihre Spiele im Business Center - wir freuen uns, schon bald darüber berichten zu können.
